You’re wrong to think that you need to cut your hair to remove splint ends: Here’s how to get rid of them without cutting your hair

Believe it or not, in order to remove split ends, you don’t necessarily need to cut your hair. In fact, there are several homemade recipes that will regenerate your split ends and the whole hair in a short period of time. Let’s take a look:

Egg mask

Eggs are rich in essential fatty acids and protein. Mix one yolk with 2 to 3 spoons of olive oil and one spoon of honey. Apply it onto your hair and leave it on for half an hour before rinsing it with shampoo and cold water.

Papaya

Papaya is rich in amino acids, antioxidants, and vitamins. Blend one papaya with half a cup of yogurt until you get a homogeneous mixture. Apply it into the hair and leave it for half an hour before rinsing it with shampoo and cold water.

Mayonnaise

Apply half a cup of mayonnaise onto wet hair and leave it for half an hour before rinsing it with cold water and shampoo.

Honey

Mix honey and curd until you get a thick paste which you need to apply onto the split ends. After 30 minutes, rinse the hair with lukewarm water and shampoo.

Warm oil

Heat some olive or almond oil in the microwave for 15 seconds and then massage it into the scalp. Leave it for 60 minutes and then rinse it with lukewarm water and shampoo. If you have very dry hair, leave the oil overnight and then rinse the hair in the morning.

Avocados

Being rich in vitamins A, D, and E, avocados are great for regenerating the hair. Also, it contains protein and fatty acids that will nourish the hair better than any store-bought regenerator. Mix a ripe avocado with 2 spoons of olive or coconut oil until you get a homogeneous mixture which you need to apply onto the whole hair, except the scalp. Rinse it after half an hour.

Beer

Rinse your hair with beer after applying shampoo to restore its glow.

Bananas

Mash a ripe banana and then add an egg, a spoon of honey, and half a cup of milk and mix the content until you get a homogeneous mixture. Leave it for half an hour and then rinse the hair as usually.

Vitamin E capsules

Mix the oil from 2 to 3 capsules of vitamin E with lukewarm water and then use the mixture to massage the hair ends.

Jojoba oil

Mix some jojoba oil with your shampoo or regenerator and rinse your hair with it to make it soft and shiny and regenerate the split ends.
