How to Treat Candida Naturally

All of us have the fungus Candida Albicans in our bodies. The problem occurs when the Candida overgrows and thus, causes numerous conditions and diseases. This pathogenic fungus starts growing abnormally when there is an imbalance of the microorganisms in the bowel. The balance of the gut flora is pivotal for a strong immunity and digestive health.

The balance can be easily disrupted as a result of too much stress or excessive use of antibiotics. When this occurs, the Candida colonies begin to grow uncontrollably and inhibit a large part of the bowel.

Candida releases 79 types of byproducts which have a harmful effect on the organism, that is, they weaken the immunity. Some of these byproducts are uric acid and acetaldehyde, a strong neurotoxin. This neurotoxin can cause strong headaches and it has recently been classified as a carcinogen. Uric acid can cause joint ache and lead to gout. The excessive growth of Candida can also cause digestive problems, food intolerance, infections, and rashes. When not treated timely, this fungus may cause other serious health problems and even cancer.

The most common triggers of Candida are:

  • Stress
  • A diet rich in sugars and carbohydrates
  • Excessive intake of antibiotics
  • Long-term use of birth pills
  • Amalgam and mercury fillings
  • Diabetes
  • Surplus amount of chlorine and fluoride in the body

If you experience more than 10 of the abovementioned symptoms, you can self-test at home. You just need to fill a glass with water before going to sleep and put it beside your bed. In the morning, after you wake up, spit in the water. Leave the glass for 15 minutes and then look at it. If the saliva is on the surface or if it has dissolved, it means that you don’t have Candida infection. However, if the water has become blurry or if there are saliva layers on the bottom of the glass, you may have Candida infection. Consult your physician for further laboratory tests. These are some of the following laboratory tests that you will need to undergo:

Blood test

The most reliable lab test for Candida is immune complex test and IG test. There are 3 types of antibodies that should be tested for Candida overgrowth, that is, IgG, IgA, and IgM. High levels of these antibodies indicate the presence of Candida.

Stool analysis

You may need to make stool analysis for several consecutive days as sometimes Candida may not be visible immediately.

Presence of tartaric acid in the urine

This conventional medical test detects the presence of tartaric acid through the urine. Tartaric acid is a byproduct of Candida.

Prevention and treatment

Cleanse the body and improve your diet

-eat more raw and steamed food

-avoid starchy vegetables

-conduct a bowel cleanse as well

-drink a lot of water

-drink a beverage made from clay on a daily basis (mix a spoon of Bentonite clay and a spoon of fiber like psyllium, apple pectin, and Acai powder. Drink the mixture 3 times per day, an hour before meals)

-drink a liver-cleansing beverage (mix 2 deciliters of water, a tsp of olive oil, a clove of garlic, and a small piece of fresh ginger. Drink the mixture at night, an hour after the clay shake)
